Distinctive portraits
People fascinate me. For me photographing people is the most natural way of photography.
All photographic subjects are unique, so I like to avoid pretentious studio settings and formulaic poses. I plan each shoot individually to match the sitter, and always listen to their wishes.
The aim of the photo session can be, for example, timeless portraits, alternative senior pictures, graduation pictures, model portfolio photos, maternity photos, baby photos, child photos or family photos.
I enjoy shooting on location, where it is possible to take advantage of the relationship of the sitter and the location and the ambient mood and light. I often use a combination of existing light and natural or creative photographic lighting.
If a suitable location isn't available, a good alternative is to use portable lighting equipment and a backdrop.
